Very Poor Customer Care - Cracked Screen

In my history, I had several phones directly from the manufacturer line which had cracked screens because of misaligned screens and therefore unforeseen stress. Furthermore, sometimes screens are put under such a stress, they do crack themselves after weeks.



Anyway, because Nokia Support Discussions are not designed as

• complaint department, and
• we cannot fix hardware issues remotely, nor
• alter local Nokia Care Centre decisions, nor
• train local engineers

we – other end-users like you – are of no big help in such a case. One of the reason, I keep such posts unanswered normally.

 

Screen cracking on 5800

I have exactly the same problem of screen cracking when there is nothing around to touch it. It is only 10 days old and kept in a Nokia supplied leather case. Looking at the number of complaints you have got to wonder if there is a design fault. Nokia
did suggest that I take it to one of their Care Points for assessment which would be fine if the nearest one wasn't an hour away.

 

lenovo yoga screen cracked

how much would it be to replace the screen on a Lenovo yoga? little brother stepped on it and the touch screen doesn't respond..... so its cracked and the touch screen doesn't work..
