  1. Does anyone know how to fix not being able to select the high performance power plan?

The power mode is set to efficiency, in settings, but high performance on Control Panel, since applying efficiency plan in settings, the control panel plan has not changed, since applying efficiency there appears to be no way to change it back to high performance since settings says power mode can't be set while the high performance plan is selected and control panel has no effect, my FPS in Forza Horizon 5 Benchmark has decreased from 116 to 19 and MSI afterburner is reporting GPU speeds of 210Mhz maximum with a 3080ti, compared to 1920Mhz previously, does anyone know the solution?

    :)

  2. High Performance Power Plan Disappeared

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 and I changed my power plan to "Balanced" just to try it out and when I went back into Control Panel to change it back to "High Performance", it was not there anymore. I tried a lot of suggested fixes that are on the internet but none of them worked. I also tried creating my own power plan and chaning the settings but its just not the same performance as the High Performance power plan. Is there any way to bring it back?

Does anyone know how to fix not being able to select the high performance power plan?

    Power plan?

Upon checking, it seems that there's nothing wrong with your system. It is usual that you have to double-click your mouse before your monitor wakes up.

For the meantime, we suggest changing the power plan by following the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + S.
    • Type in Power Settings.
    • On the pop-up window, choose Additional power settings.
    • Select High performance.

After changing the power plan, we suggest that you monitor the changes made and check if that will work for you.

Get back to us if you need further help.
