Windows 10: does anyone know how to fix the error when trying to install Microsoft Visual C++...

every time I try to install it. it just keeps saying verify that you have access to the location and that the older versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable can't be uninstalled.

1. Are you trying to download the 2017 C++ manually or through Windows update?
2. Did you make any changes to the computer before this issue occurred?
3. May I know the current build and the version that you are working with?
4. Check for the current Visual C++ installed on your PC?

Here are few suggestions that you can try out once and see if it fix the issue.

Step 1:

Click on Settings >Update & Security> Check for updates, try to install the update available.
