    Does anyone know how to stop Photos from lagging when opening?


    When I open a photo, it normally takes a few seconds to open and a black screen precedes the actual photo. It doesn't do this on another laptop I have for work: it opens almost instantly. Is there anything to disable in settings that causes it slow?

    Photos cycling quickly in Photo Viewer...Can't make it stop


    Hi,

    When I open up any photo with Windows Photo Viewer, it automatically begins cycling through the all the photos in the gallery very quickly until it gets to the end, and then it stops. I've tried restarting my computer and unplugging my mouse and keyboard, but that didn't help. Does anyone know how to resolve this annoying issue? Thanks for any suggestions.

    Hi,

    We would like to know more about your lag issue:

    • What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
    • Does the lag occur in a particular game?

    In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
