    Does anyone know if windows 10/ubuntu can run idle (python)?


    I know the built in version of ubuntu on 10 is limited, but so is the ubuntu on Chromebook and it has no trouble running idle (Python) The error message indicates a display problem. Thanks.

    Python Idle not working.

    Hi Dexter, did Idle appear in the list of available apps to open Python scripts?

    If so, open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu

    Go to Apps - Default Apps

    Scroll down and click 'Choose Defaults by App'

    Does Idle appear in that list, if so, set it to have all its defaults form there and see if you can double click a Python script to open it in Idle . . .

    Python Idle not working.

    Hi guys, i am currently running windows 10 and my python idle version is 3.8. After saving a code when i try to edit it with idle nothing happens. i.e the idle wont run. This might not be the correct place to ask this question but please help me solve
    this problem. Any answer would be fine. My idle is working fine when i open it manually.

    Hi Dave,

    No that is not the problem. As you know when you right click on a file, an option appears asking you with which app you want to open the file with. I did the same with all my saved projects. I right clicked on them and i pressed edit with idle and boom nothing
    happens. Please help me.
