  1. Does anyone know of an application to easily change the volume from my Line-In input...

Sorry if there's some obvious answer but I've been doing deep dives into Google to find a solution but I haven't found anything.

I've been playing some of my vinyls through the Line-In input on my Motherboard but whenever I want to change the volume for my line-in (There's no volume control on the player itself) I need to go into control panel and change it there. Is there any easy way to change this around, ideally in something similar to Windows' Volume Mixer or EarTrumpet?

    Cheers.

type in list volume..... your array volume should come up.... if so

    type in Select volume 7
    assign

let me know if your volume is not there.

    Strange Application: Shell Input Application

    Okay,

As usual, I can't believe that Microsoft themselves don't even know their own apps, plus that they insist on giving them confusing names.

For the next person who asks this question, "Shell Input Application" = "Touchscreen Keyboard".

The reason it never makes any noise is because I almost never use it on a 27" AIO, and it only creates an item in Volume Mixer when I actually use it, so that's why it's not always there.

It's clearly not a problem, and these lame steps suggested by "Moderator" don't really show any effort in understanding. Obviously, starting in safe mode isn't going to have any effect in identifying a Touch Keyboard application. Even if I start it in Safe
Mode, how is that going to help me identify an application that is supposed to be there?

Anyway.... this reminds me of all those first level support techs who ask you if you've tried re-booting your computer when that was the first thing you told them that's not working when they answered the phone.

Looking to Create a Hotkey to Change the Volume Level of Line In

Okay I got what I desired by downloading this application called Volume2 (I did not know it existed prior to the creation of this thread so my apologies).

Now I can use a hotkey to control the volume level of Line In.
