  1. Does anyone know when DoH (DNS over HTTPS) will be released to the regular update channel...

I wanted to know when will the update that will enable the feature be released to the regular non dev windows 10?

Additionally is there anyway to enable this system wide without being on a dev or preview build even if it requires 3rd party apps.

My ISP does DNS hijacking to enforce censorship and they redirect the authentication requests for my VPN so please any help I can not download a dev or preview my workflow requires maximum stability. It needs to be applicable to the regular update channel please.

  3. DNS-over-HTTPS (or DoH) Question

DoH is mainly for companies and ISPs, who block DNS requests made by users, but they can not block https.
It is preferable to use DNS over TCP. I prefer dnscrypt, because UDP can not be as easily abused as TCP.
To sum it up: dnscrypt > DoT > DoH > DNS. Then again DoH is definitely better than classic DNS.
When you use VPN, DNS can leak your real IP and your DNS requests, just like IPv6.

Does anyone know when DoH (DNS over HTTPS) will be released to the regular update channel...

    DNS-over-HTTPS (or DoH) Question

DoH is built into Firefox now and I have it enabled using the default CloudFlare site. I don't notice any slowdown. Since a VPN encrypts all the traffic I believe it makes DoH redundant. When you're using the VPN you may want to try disabling DoH to see if it makes a difference to performance. Chrome doesn't currently offer DoH in its settings like Firefox, so it requires more work to enable - if you want to enable it do a Google search for instructions. Hope this helps.
