  2. Snap multitasking not working properly

Have you made any changes or performed any updates recently? Please check the Snap settings and make sure that these settings are enabled:

    • Arrange windows automatically by dragging them to the sides or corners of the screen.
    • When I snap a window, automatically size it to fill available space
    • When I snap a window, show what I can snap next to it
    • When I resize a snapped window, simultaneously resize any adjacent snapped window

Just click the Windows key > Setting >
    System
    , then select Multitasking.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Regards.

    moving and resizing

    Hi Bob,

There may be several reasons why you are unable to resize or move applications after installing an update. To better assist you with your concern, we would like you to answer the questions below:

    • Does it happen only on one application?
    • Which application are you having issues resizing or moving?

In the meantime, we suggest you to run the Windows 10 troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key +X, select
      Control panel
    • Change the view by option on the top right to
      Large icons
    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the
view all option on the left panel
    • Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter
Let us know how it goes.

Resizing Application (UWP) Windows is broken

SYMPTOM: I resize a window larger, but only the Window border grows larger. The size of the painted area stays the same.

    • Happens on multiple UWP (Windows-10style) "apps" such as Settings!, sticky-notes,
      photo viewer,.
    • Happens on two very different 64-bit Windows 10 computers:
      • Dell XPS 15 laptop with 4k monitor running Intel embedded graphics. (Since an upgrade, I believe)
      • Desktop with HD monitor running Nvidia GeForce 1060 graphics card. (Newly purchased & installed Windows 10 ISO.)
Only workaround is to resize the window to the desired size, kill it using ALT+F4 (usually the "red X" isn't visible) and restart. Needless to say, this is very inconvenient.

Windows version on the laptop: Windows 10 Pro update 1703 (10.0.15063 Build 15063)

    One screenshot is in
    this (locked) question
. Surely this is a windows bug, no? Any solutions to it? (I would prefer not to upgrade to a later update just yet, on advice from my IT department & I heard that I'd lose Paint!)
