Windows 10: Does changing Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition to Windows 11 Home multi-language remove OEM...

Hello. I want to upgrade my Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition. which is activated via OEM key, to Windows 11 Home multi-language using the generic key. I have several question I could not find answers for:1. Does this procedure remove OEM license so I have to buy an activation for Windows Since Win11 Home China and Win11 Home are different2. Does this procedure overwrite or replace user settings such as powercfg configurations and preinstalled-oem software?3. Does resetting new upgraded Windows 11 Home will be clean without OEM preinstalled software since Win11 Home China features many prei

Windows 10 issue: Chinese language popup

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to change the Keyboard language and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps.

• Type Language in the search bar.
• Launch Edit Language and Keyboard Options from the search list.
• Under Languages look for the list of language.
• If you are able to find out the Chinese language, right click on the language and Remove it.

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

And, sort of the same here --> Add a language or keyboard

Change your Windows display language

  (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)

• Tap or click Set as primary to move the language to the top of the list. If the language can become your Windows display language, you'll see Will be display language after next sign-in appear under the language.
• Sign out and then sign back in to finish.

I would suggest you, try removing Chinese language pack and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps.

• 
  Type Language in the search area on the taskbar and select
  Language.
  
• 
  Select the Chinese language and click on
  Move down (if it is on the top).
  
• 
  Click on Remove Option.
