  2. Teams Organization having access to my personal computer

    Hi Abox,

May I know whether you are using Teams free version or Teams using Office 365 Business subscription?

Make sure that the Windows credentials you signed in with are the same as your Microsoft 365 school credentials. If not, please sign with the Windows credentials using Microsoft 365 school account and try to sign in Teams again with the correct email/ password
    combination.

However, based on the description it seems that your organization admin have made policy for security reason that allow access your personal device. If so, if you don’t want to allow/disable this policy then I would suggest you please contact your organization
    admin for further assistance.

If I have misunderstood anything, please correct me and provide us with detailed screenshot about this issue via the
Private Message so that we can check and further assist you.

    Best regards,
    Shyamal

Accidentally clicked "Allow my organization to manage my device" in Teams

I've been working from home for a few months and recently needed to re-sign in to my Microsoft Teams app using my work credentials. I mistakenly blasted through the prompts and left the "Allow my organization to manage my device" box checked. This introduced
    a couple of problems:

    1. I do NOT want my work to have ANY access to my device

    2. Now when I try to unlock my device, the four-digit PIN I've been using for years is no longer good enough and needs to be changed by "my organization". I use a four-digit simple PIN as a small-step lock that is easy for me to type in. Upgrading to a six-digit
PIN or a traditional account password as my primary unlocking does not suit my needs.

I've been able to remove my work account from my Windows profile and signed into Teams again, this time leaving the box unchecked. However, even after rebooting, the PIN entry issue persists. I'm now concerned I don't have the necessary privacy and control
over my own device that I used to have.

    Cortana & Office 365 Integration

We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:

    • Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal
    • We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana
Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful

    Thank you
