Windows 10: Does downloading windows 10 from the iso file require an internet connection?

I have been using windows 11 for many months and ive started to like windows 10 more, i want to try the ISO File method of rolling back but i don't know whether it requires WiFi since i have a data limit.

Finding .IMG or .ISO file in Windows 8.1 Pro download

Hey guys,

In preparation for my new PC I downloaded Windows 8.1 Pro from Dreamspark, and I wanted to burn it to a DVD, so I can install it on the new PC.
However, in the downloaded files I can't find a .IMG or .ISO file anywhere. I understood that the .IMG file is the one you need to burn to the DVD?

Any suggestions?

Downloading ISOs for Windows 7, 8.1, 10

Thanks for the heads up about IE 11. I didn't see the requirements listed on the page I downloaded from....Internet Explorer 11 is blocked(Aegis for Windows 7/8.x) from being installed on my pc and I've uninstalled IE 8...could be why it doesn't work.

At least I know why....*Smile
