Windows 10: Does hotspot connect directly to proxy or through the computer from the connection being...

Let's say I have connected my phone to the internet through the hotspot from my Laptop. In order to access the internet, i have to configure proxy in both laptop and android. Now on the server side would the traffic come from my laptop or it would be shown as different i.e coming from the android?

• I'm not getting any errors or codes, it just says "there is no internet access.still you want to connect?"
• yeah, I'm able to connect to other wi-fi hotspots which doesn't utilize proxy.

I have also done the last two methods you have suggested, but there it couldn't resolve the problem sir.

 

Wifi turns off automatically when a device is connected to my hotspot


Whenever a device is connected to my hotspot the wifi is turning off automatically thereby stopping the hotspot.

To turn the Windows 10 hotspot on, in first step I have turned on the Wireless Network Connection as shown in the below image.





After that I did following steps in Command Prompt(Admin) for hotspot
1. netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=MyWiFi key=mypassword
2. netsh wlan start hostednetwork

In netsh wlan show hostednetwork command, it shows the hotspot had started successfully as shown in the below image.





But whenever a device is connected to this hotspot the wifi is turning off automatically thereby stopping the hotspot.





I have unchecked the Power management option i.e, Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
All driver are updated to the latest versions.

• Have you tried connecting a different phone or device to the hotspot of your computer?
• Have you tried connecting your iPhone to the hotspot of other computer?
• When did the issue start?
• Were there significant changes made on your computer prior to this issue?

Meanwhile, you can run the Internet Connection Troubleshooter and check if it helps. Here are the steps:

• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar and select it.
• Click View all.
• Select Internet Connections.
• Run the troubleshooter.
