Does it matter what data clone software or data recovery with clone i run to clone hdd to ssd or just buy 1tb hdd then recover the partition to that i dont want efirecoverymsr partition only i was on 1 partition i didnt create a new one or whatever disk letter

HDD to SSD clone

In general, there is no way to clone 500 GB hard to 240 GB SSD. But if your data on hard drive is less than 240 GB, you can use AOMEI Backupper. This software allows you to clone large hard drive to smaller SSD.

Cloning an external HDD

Hello community,

I just bought a new laptop and I was wondering if I clone my old laptop HDD (right now I am using that as external HDD) connected to my new PC. My idea is to clone this old HDD into my new laptop so I can use all my data and installed software, is that possible?

PS. Both are with windows 10, my old laptop was HP and now I got Asus.

Failing HDD and Cloning

You seem intend on this install clean install windows when I have said windows does not run on that drive and TeraCopy doesn't even budge anymore.
for moving files from that drive. Then there are those that have suggested imaging and 1 or 2 that talked about cloning software.

I now have 3 HDDs left...

So nothing is copying, no cloning and imaging, now what?
