    Does it matter what email activates Windows 10 pro key?


    I'm in the UK, the company i work for has recently bought two new computers for our office staff. We had to order Windows 10 pro separately, however the key cannot be sent to my work email even though i have disabled all of the spam filters. I recently added my personal email onto the account to see if it could be sent to that and it went through straight away. If I activated the Windows 10 pro with my personal email instead of my work one, would there actually be anything linked to my email or is it just somewhere for it to be sent to?

    Windows 8.1 pro + WMC key activation

    This worked for me last time with a Win 8 key.

    Install Windows 8.1 and enter KMS key during setup. Once in windows change product key to my Windows 8 key. Go to add features and enter my WMC add-on key. Drink a beer to a job well done.

    Windows 8.1 pro + WMC key activation

    So it will be fine installing 8.1 pro with a KMS key, then switch to my 8 pro key and it will activate ok?

    Maybe a daft question but why can't you just install 8.1 pro with the 8 pro key, or is it different keys for 8 and 8.1? seems silly when 8.1 is a free update anyway.

    Should I buy Windows 10 Home or Pro?

    I bought a win 10 pro oem key for £25, changed my motherboard and cpu, and reinstalled windows, and it activated automatically. So I would say why not buy pro?

    Was near enough instant delivery of key by email, and it activated on my original install, and on a clean install with changed hardware. Can't say fairer than that for £25
