Windows 10: does live chat ever help anyone,

I spent almost 2 hours on chat and the only thing that was accomplished was me explaining my issue multiple times and the only answer I was given was it is a hardware issue. I asked for my case to be escalated and was told that they are just going to say the same thing. I asked for a supervisor and got the same statement. I asked if I was being refused a supervisor and that was not addressed at all. Coming from being a tech support supervisor previously, I am having a hard time with the fact that the chat lasted that long and I am still not convinced that we ever gained agreement on the iss

Microsoft Live Chat Support or Help with Issue

Getting to an agent via Live Chat took me over an hour and was extremely convoluted *Confused. So much so that I honestly cannot recall all the steps I took. I believe their system is designed to have one go on a 'treasure hunt' as all other sites with live chat have that little chat pop-up.

I am going crazy trying to find how to contact Microsoft Live Chat Support. The reason is I cannot figure out how to change my 2-step email login verification settings to send the code to my phone. Right now it is sending it to my alternate email. please help - thx
