Windows 10: Does Microsoft actually believe that their "telemetry practices" are ethical?

Discus and support Does Microsoft actually believe that their "telemetry practices" are ethical? in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; Does Microsoft actually believe that their "telemetry practices" are ethical?     Thats the whole question. I have it disabled on my own machines but when working machines for clients, I try to disable everything I can to the point that they dont lose any functionality.


    Okay, I have a part B to the question, what are they doing with data?


    Id love to have this question answered by a Microsoft representative.

    Ethisphere released its latest list of World's Most Ethical (WME) companies. The list honors companies for ethical practices. WME honorees not only promote ethical business standards and practices internally, they exceed legal compliance minimums and shape future industry standards by introducing best practices today."

    Sorted by industry, you will find two short sections covering computer hardware and computer software. Under the hardware section, Intel Corporation is the only other honoree than Hitachi Data Systems. Microsoft and Adobe are honorees as some of the most ethical computer software companies.     Sooo, basically you can't go too wrong using a Dell PC, with Hitachi Harddrives, running Windows, with MS Office and Photoshop installed and using Google search. *Cool Oddly enough I'm not too far off that...
