    Does Microsoft charge $349.59 annually forWindows Defender?


    I just received an auto-renew Invoice from Microsoft Defender for $349.59. In the past, I thought it was included in Window at no additional cost. Has that policy changed, or is this a SCAM?? I did not respond to their telephone number to call.

    I have heard that there may be an annual charge after Windows 10 is installed on computers. Any truth to this and if so what might the charge be for?

    There will not be any charges for Windows 10 if you use the Free Upgrade offer.

    Some people mis-understood this offer.

    The offer to Upgrade to Windows 10 from a computer using Windows 7 or Windows 8x will
    last for one year after the release of Windows 10.

    After you use this free offer, Windows 10 will be supported for the lifetime of the computer where you installed it.

    There is no subscription charge.
