Windows 10: Does Microsoft provide a driver for Epson FF-680W and windows 11

I have an Epson scanner FF-680W and windows 11. My scanner will not work!

Epson ff-680w scanner can't see folders

For some reason, the Epson Fast Foto (ff-680w) scanner software can no longer see any option other than my desktop as a location to view or store photos. This was not the case before today. Not sure what changed and why it doesn't work. I have made sure folders are shared, running the software as administrator, etc and nothing.

Not sure what would have changed this, as it was working properly before to see both system hard disk files as well as a removable hard drive. Now only the desktop is showing as an option. I have tried Epson support and everything they have tried isn't working, including un-installing and re-installing software, deleting config files from app data, and whatever else they had me try. Still no luck.

Mmmm, only thing else I can think off is trying Windows Update, otherwise I too am clueless, LOL. I just had a look on the Epson site and they didn't even list a driver for mine under W7, but it worked in W7 when I tried it, even had the epson control panel. Well, until there was a sickening sound of broken plastic and it went west, but thats another story, LOL.

Can you test the printer on another PC by any chance?

Other Trick:

I would suggest you to try uninstalling and re-installing the printer drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps. Try the below-mentioned steps at topic:

The last suggestion, I only found this driver in parallel drivers websites like printerdrivers.com. there are many websites with drivers pack, Is not the recommended you use this type of driver, only of manufacturer, but you can try to solve fix with it.
