Windows 10: Does my BIOS need to be updated Gateway NE56R? Windows 10 not installing correctly

So long story short . . My laptop has been trying to download and complete Windows 10 for almost 2 years.

Yes, I know i have an older laptop, I dont need a new one, it works totally fine other than this windows problem

I get these same error codes all the time and no one can seem to fix the problem. Windows 10 update assistant just keeps trying and trying to update and make my computer run so slow

I have been on with Microsoft, done remote access and they say its officially a Gateway bios problem.


Here is my system information. Do i need to update? and which version do i use?

Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393


Gateway NE56R x64 Base PC


Bios Version/Date Gateway V1.07, 5/11/2012


Any help to solve with problem would be super helpful!

My Gateway NE56R has been trying to install Intel VGA Driver 9.17.10.2867 unsuccessfully.

My Gateway NE56R has been trying to install Intel VGA Driver 9.17.10.2867 unsuccessfully. I continue to get the message "Items not installed" I'm on Windows 10 Home and my file updater keeps asking me to update this driver. Any ideas please.

yesterday i was upgrade windows 10 from windows 7 in my acer gateway NE56R laptop,from that everything is fine,but my touchpad scroll is not working..........can any one help me out for fixing this problem?

me good performance.
