Microphone works but not with magicjack win10

The built in mic on my HP Pavilion 17 laptop works fine.

When I try to use it with magicjack it doesn't pick up any sound.

I checked in settings and it has a list of apps that are able to use the mic, but I don't see magicjack in the list.

The windows voice recorder works fine.

 

PhoneExperienceHost stops working, then Phone Link won't operate

I have enable Phone Link on both my Android phone and Windows11 PC. When I start phone link on PC, it sees the Android phone properly . However, in the main box, I see the "Getting Ready" thing and after a few seconds of it trying to work, then I get PhoneExperienceHost has stopped working. Says sending data to MS, but the only thing I can then do is close the program. What may be causing this?

 

magicJack Internet Phone doesn't download Contacts.

I lost my Contacts List 3 days ago. I have uninstalled and reinstalled magicJack, then changed to magicJack Plus device. I can get the dial pad without the Contacts List and can make and receive calls. I can't add a contact, because that option is greyed
out.

I don't know what caused this to happen. I've used magicJack a long time (over 6 years) without trouble. I'm wondering if the recent Microsoft updates could be the source of this problem. I don't know!
