Windows 10: Does resetting Windows 10 wipes my other hard disk as well?

So i been trying to reset my windows 10, i chose keep all of personal files. And when i checked the list of the apps that will be remove if i reset my windows, i noticed majority of the apps listed r kept in my D: disc while my windows 10 r installed in C: disc. I already do a double check and most of my apps r really from D: disc which i just bought and installed after C: disc. So is that mean resetting my pc does bother other hard disk as well?

Windows 10 recovery doesnt wipe my hard-disk

Hi, to clean install Windows you need to create a bootable flash drive or other medium from which to boot your PC. That's covered at Step 1 of the tutorial shown below (Clean Install..)

At step 13/14 you have the option presented to you where you can delete existing partitions.

Note: some suggest- as you have a desktop- physically disconnecting other drives just to ensure Windows is installed exclusively on the one drive.

 

Windows 10 Reset (remove files, no disk wipe) fails with Inaccessible Boot Device; Defender Offline fails with 0x8007002

Two identical Dell Inspiron 660 systems (one for each child):

• Win7 --> Win 10 upgrades went uneventfully, normal function afterward.
• 1st system then put through Windows 10 Reset procedure with file removal AND disk wipe, completed successfully, normal function
• 2nd system then put through Windows 10 Reset procedure with file removal WITHOUT disk wipe --> procedure fails:
  • INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE error is thrown, with an endless reboot cycle
• Based on
  this thread reference to
  KB2673509, Windows Defender Offline downloaded and run to create USB installation
• USB device inserted into affected system
• Boot device sequence manually directed to USB during reboot cycle via BIOS <F12> key function
• Windows Defender Offline initiates, but halts throwing error 0x8007002

• This code
  appears to be related to a problem with Windows update, which I can not rationalize given that this is explicitly an
  offline tool.

What are the suggestions for next step(s)?

By installing the new Windows 10, will my hard disk be wiped?

Or will all my data be kept on my CPU after the installation?
