Windows 10: Does signing into outlook app not Microsoft 365 make Windows sign into a Microsoft account...

Hi,I'm using my de-clutterified Win11 Pro with a local account.I do NOT ever intend to sign into a Microsoft account on my OS.If I use the Outlook app, and one of my e-mail accounts is a live.com hotmail account, will this make my OS sign into Microsoft and turn my local account into a MS account?Thank you!PS1: I don't know the proper terms for a non-local account as I have never used one and I will never use one.PS2: Please do NOT suggest that I sign into Windows OS-wide as a solution. PS3: I'm specifically asking about downloading the Outlook e-mail client and using it, not signing into

No, I don't sign up on Windows with my Outlook account. The only software that's tied to it is Office 365.

 

Cannot sign in microsoft account.

My device: Lumia 520. GDR2.
I cannot sign in my Microsoft account on my device. It didnt say any error but Microsoft account is not listed in Email and account list. When I click add button, it will show microsoft account option but after press sign in, it is still not shown in email
and account. Another problem is i cannot delete facebook account. Error code: 0x83cf1202. I have tried as suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2475837/en-us#step0x83cf1202 but as my Microsoft account is not shown, I cannot do step 6.

Any suggestion?

 

Sign in with a Microsoft account instead

I do in fact have an existing Microsoft account and if I go directly to Microsoft, everything works. The problem is clearly at Step 7 of the process of, "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead." I don't know why this is happening.
