Windows 10: Does the "Energy Saving" feature in Windows 11 affect the overall performance of a laptop...

I usually use energy saving when using battery and I get that it would decrease its performance, I know as well that using the laptop plugged in would perform better, but I'm curious why the energy saving mode is also available when it's plugged in. By any chance this still decreases power consumption leading to degraded performance even when plugged in?

Windows 11 Features Not Working Properly

Hello Windows Community,

I've been experiencing persistent issues with some of the basic features on my Windows 11 laptop. Specifically, the Win+R shortcut and the three-finger tap to open search are not functioning correctly. These features work for about 5 seconds after I restart my laptop, but then they stop working again.

I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including:

1. Restarting the laptop multiple times
   
2. Checking for Windows updates and installing any available updates
   
3. Running the Windows Troubleshooter for keyboard and general system issues
   
4. Performing a system scan using sfc /scannow
   
5. Updating all drivers, especially for the keyboard and touchpad
   
6. Checking and adjusting settings in the Control Panel and Windows Settings
   

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt if Windows 11 will affect the performance of your laptop because your device is above the minimum requirement for Windows 11.

In case you experience performance issues after upgrading, you can easily rollback to Windows 10 within 10 days after successfully updating to Windows 11.
