Windows 10: Does the reset option of "Remove Everything" formats the whole drive or only the C:/ Partition?

I want to reset and format my windows 10 PC, and using the reset function seems to be the easiest option (so i don't need a bootable drive and all that BIOS spiel).

Thing is, i want to save a single folder with the more important stuff. My idea was to make a partition that's about the size of the folder, and transfer it from C:/ to the partition (let's say D:/) and then do a full "Remove Everything" reset.

So, does the Remove Everything option completely wipes the drive and all partitions or does it only do it in the main C:/ partition that windows is installed?

However, could you please confirm,

• Is RESET option means fresh install? with format option?
• Can I create Installation USB from another PC? using Windows7 OS.
  
• Would I need Internet access for installation by CREAT TOOL USB?
• I have my data on other partitions then of OS partition, will formating OS Drive partition affect other partitions?

Any way to format a drive and remove all the partitions

Okay so if you want to dualboot, do what I suggested earlier, but with a few changes.

Instead of just formatting a new partition of the full drive size, calculate how many GB's you want for each installation, and create two partitions. Install W7 to the one you want it to go to.

After you install 7, with your options, you're going to want to install XP on the other partition first, then upgrade it to Vista. That should allow you to dualboot Vista and Windows 7.

Recover from drive - just remove my files. Does it delete data from c drive only or all the drives/partitions?

i am trying to recover from USB drive. I selected option "Just remove my files" and then i see screen with following text

• All personal files and user account on your PC will be removed.
• Any apps and programs that didn't come with your PC will be removed.
• Windows will be re-installed from the recovery drive connected to your PC.
• If you've repartitioned your system drive, this will restore its default partitions.

What is the meaning of 4th point? is it going to delete all my other partitions like d,e,f ? or it will just quick format my c drive and install windows on it
