Hey all,I realise that there may be no-one on the forum who can answer this question as it likely is only Xbox and Windows developers that know but no harm in asking, right? Also, apologies if this is in the wrong section...it's about Xbox and Windows so could have gone in either but, as the issue is on Windows, I have posted it in Windows...feel free to move it if necessaryThe title says it all really: How differently does an Xbox Series X and a Windows PC handle microphone inputs? I know the Xbox firmware is basically a stripped out Windows so I'd imagine it's fairly similar.Reason for askin

    :)

All usb microphone inputs not working

So both my adapter for xlr to 3.5mm jack input and my newly purchased usb microphone are not recognised. I've tried updating the drivers, using different usb ports, uninstalling the drivers and letting windows do it manually. Every time though, it's listed as having issue's in device manager... Can some help?

    Headset/Microphone background reduction; suggestions

There's a solution to this out there, but I cannot pinpoint the right search terminology to get accurate results.

When I speak into my microphone, whatever sound is being sent into my headphones, is also directly sent to the microphone and outputted upon transmit.

This means that it's not a case of the sound coming out of the headphones, then travelling to the microphone, it's actually going straight to the microphone instead.

All I've come up with so far, is a suggestion to mute the microphone input via Windows. Though that seems to render the microphone useless.

Vastly Different Display Size shown in settings: I have a 15in laptop screen that is usually running at 4k and a 32in monitor that is at 1080p. In the display settings, it shows the monitor as a lot smaller since it is only at 1080, and I was wondering if there was a way to make windows think that they are both the same...

Audio input way too low and doesn't change with different settings or microphones.: I have been having huge issues with my audio input on my PC. Windows will only detect around 2% at most, without gain and on 100 volume, which is atrocious. I have gone through 2 microphones and 2 headsets, all 4 are plug in. Original mic was an old one, several years old,...
