Windows 10: Does using the same product key multiple time works?

Hello,Recently due to some reasons, I thought of reinstalling windows. But, then i thought i have to buy windows product key again for all the features and stuff. Then, i saw many peoples on youtube showing many ways to how to see your product key and saying you can use it multiple times. So, Does it really work?Thanks, Mark halland

I suggest you to try to activate Windows by phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select your Region/Country.
• Select the Phone Activation option, and hold on for a real person.

Product key not recognized

I want to thank everyone for taking the time to respond to my query. I have to say some of the suggestions assume a tech capability beyond me.

I think I will find the original receipt, go back to the shop, and ask them for the Product Key, then try again. I suspect it was an unauthorized copy. Maybe that will work.
