Windows 10: Does Win10 offer Loudness Equalization w/ HDMI Audio Playback Device?

My point in the question I posed was to get you to elaborate on what you post for help. That includes assuming the OP isn't familiar with the suggestions posted. Telling someone to edit an INF file, and actually showing them what they're looking for is two different things. Whenever I suggest something like that I leave either instructions or a clear link to what's to be done. I'll also echo Barman58's concerns when making such INF suggestions.

As for "these settings"... I've posted the recording side of that screen shot so "I" assumed that's what you were talking about, but clarity relieves guesswork.

i had clearly answered the OP's question with post #4, since i understood what he was asking, the valid answer is that these options and properties that are displayed, are hardware and driver dependent.
i was simply providing more insight and knowledge about how those options are displayed in the event the OP happens to be curious about it, not instructing or telling the OP to modify or change any INF file.
when someone answers my question but yet goes the "extra step" to provide details, insight and knowledge along with an accepted answer, i really appreciate that much more than a canned scripted answer and a general response.
if its a forum crime to provide insight and knowledge along with help, then sue me *Tongue
i will say, its something to "think about" when im lashed upon as a "newbie" here for sharing knowledge that i know.

 

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, and it looks like you've gotten many replies.

In terms of the NVIDIA HD Audio, the Loudness and Equalization tab is present, and I'm able to change settings in Windows.

Since you have Intel HD Audio, it will depend on if Intel has drivers and software to use for that, only if Windows doesn't automatically use the generic software for Loudness and Equalization settings, which I've checked, and all of my systems have it, "Both Realtek HD Audio and NVIDIA HD Audio"

Also, in order for it to work, the Intel HD Audio will need to be set as your default audio device. I notice that when a device is inactive, the options are not there. Also as others have said, the hardware must also have the feature for it to work.
