Windows 10: Does Win10's Calendar really have no alarm or audio notifications?

I can't find them anywhere. When I searched I saw a lot of people recommending integrating their Google Calendar to it. So why not just use Google Calendar if you are already using it? Isn't the point of using Microsoft's Calendar for people that do not use other calendars? The Help page on their Calendar is absolutely laughable. Microsoft writes the worst Help anywhere. Its like its vetted through a 100 legal layers before its released so by the time the lawyers have OK'd everything there's nothing of use left. Calendar Alarm/Notifications

My alarm/notifications are not working on my AT&T 8525. For some reason, I have alarms set in my calendar for appointments, but they never sound. My volume is up, but nothing shows on the screen. I have this device for about a month. I thought when I
previous set it up, the alarm would sound and then a "notifications" box would show on the lower left portion of the screen (same as a missed call). However, nothing shows now, and no alarms go off for the appointments. I tried a soft reset, but nothing.
Any suggestions? (I'm getting tempted to go back to my 6515.

 

C5-00.2: Setting of calendar notification/alarm

I have a C5-00.2 device and confused about the calendar alarm function. When I have a calendar event upcoming the notification alarm starts at the set time, but the alarm will continue until I press Stop or Snooze, which is a little bit disturbing if I’m
in a meeting etc.



Is there any setting so I only got a single notification signal/vibration and then the device stay quite when an upcoming calendar event (as many other devices do)? Will this function depend on witch alarm sound is activated?

The alarms on the Win10 Alarm Clock app no longer ring when they are supposed to

I performed my standard/forced 6-week update on July 10, 2020.

BTW.... I did not upgrade to 2004 because I have heard of a bunch of bugs that I want ironed out before I upgrade, and have no intention to do so until those reported bugs are fixed.

Here is the problem... on the Win10 Alarm Clock app, my alarms now do not alarm when they are supposed to. They do alarm, but always HOURS AFTER they are supposed to do so. I have missed some things because I depend on the Win10 alarm app.

I only find out I missed something when through happenstance I click the Notifications window in the taskbar, and then the multiple alarms I've missed start alarming with their notifications listed in the Notifications window. Not only that, but there are
usually 2 or 3 alarms that I've missed that are listed in the Notification window.
