    Does Windows 10 security have preset rules in advanced settings


    I am not IT savvy. I have an HP laptop using Windows security features. I recently found a number of open ports on my laptop after a security scan. I read how to go to advanced settings to set rules to close ports. When I went to advanced settings I found tons of rules that had already been created that I clearly did not create being this was the first time I had ever entered advanced settings. Is this normal? I don't know if I should reset all advanced security settings / rules or are there rules that were created when I downloaded an app etc. that will mess up operations on my computer?

    Try this method:
    • First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
    • locate and select “Update and Security“.
    • in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
    • In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
    • Turn off Updates from more than one place.
    Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.

    Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.
