Windows 10: Does Windows 11 Cloud Clipboard require that OneDrive is active?

I have disabled Microsoft OneDrive 'cause I don't like it's "features." Clipboard Synching between Windows and my Android phone doesn't seem to be working. According to what I can find on the 'net, I have it set up properly.Does Cloud Clipboard require OneDrive to be active?

I have see nothing that indicates images are no longer supported via Cloud Clipboard.

Make sure Cloud Clipboard is correctly set up between devices as shown here:

If you have further problems I'd ask Shawn in the Comments section of the above tutorial as he is usually the best expert on the subjects he writes about.

Not seeing sync/cloud icon in Windows clipboard

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
