Windows 10: Does windows 11 spellchecker only apply to windows apps like Word.

One of the Windows 11 options for typing is for text suggestions whenever using a keyboard but that does not seem to work nor any other spell checking. Under typing all 4 of these options are ON: 1 Show text suggestions when typing on the physical keyboard; 2 Multilingual text suggestions; 3 Autocorrect misspelled words; 4 Highlight misspelled words. It used to show when I was entering text in almost any app. - specifically Wordpress Gutenberg editor. Now it no longer seems to. Any suggestions? Spellchecking is no longer finding the right word

Hi there,

In whatever desktop app I use, Chrome, Firefox, Discord, that uses the system's spellchecker, I never get the right suggestions.

• I've uninstalled and reinstalled my english languages packs,
  
• i've turned off and turned on spellchecking
  

It was not always like this, it uses to work well a while ago.

I've been busy the last couple of weeks to dive into this, but I'm still wondering what the issue is.

I’m using word spellcheck for several years and I believe its very useful and practical

Unfortunately, the window 10 mail app doesn’t have so good spellcheck in most of the cases it doesn’t recognize the words and it need to right click each word. Is there a plugin or some think that will make it work like the Microsoft office spellcheck?
