    hi, just bought a gaming laptop last december, and i just upgraded my ram last week, i was wondering why my like 15.8 gb of my ram is mostly being used and not the entire 16gb? just wondering if this is a microsoft thing and its just normal, heres a picture of what im talking about, my laptops a Acer Nitro 5 if you are wondering.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin Does Windows always not use all of my ram? :D

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
