    Hi,


    I've been experiencing an annoying issue that I have not been able to figure out yet.


    I bought a Windows license a couple of months back from the Microsoft website and used the provided installation disk to do a clean installation of Windows 10 Pro. I used my Outlook-account to complete the installation instead of an offline-account and I noticed that my profile path name was wrong.


    It showed up as 'denni' instead of 'Dennis'.


    So I reinstalled Windows 10 again and precisely followed & read each step. I didn't even get the option to assign a name, so I logged in with my Outlook-account and it showed up as 'denni' again.


    I reinstalled Windows 10 again but this time without my Outlook-email and this time I did get the option to assign a name. This time the name of my profile path was correct. I logged into my Microsoft account to check my profile info but everything there is written correctly.


    I also tried changing the profile path using: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...oes-not-automatically-change-the-profile-path , it works but it partly breaks the OS configurations for me at least.


    And I think it's also better not to mess with the profile path name once it has been set.


    Does anyone know how I can fix it?

    Because today I reinstalled my PC again, and I forgot to log in with an offline-account before signing in with my Microsoft-account. And now the profile path is 'denni' again, lol.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Stop windows automatic driver install

    I'm having a problem with installing a nvidia card. windows 7 automatically installs some wdm 1.1 drivers, then when i install the 195.39 drivers, it gives me less performance. like the cards lags in games when it should run fine.

    how can i stop windows from installing the drivers automatically ?

    i tried checking the "don't install drivers from windows update" in device manager. it still installs it.

    i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?
