    Hi Vishwajeet,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

As per the issue description you are unable to use Windows defender on your Windows 10 computer and getting error code 0x80070578. I would suggest you to try the steps provided below and see if it helps you to fix the issue.

    Method 1

Ensure that the Windows Defender service is started and set to Automatic.
Follow the below steps provided below.

    • Press Windows key + R to open run box.
    • Type services.msc and hit enter.
    • There should be 2 services: Windows Defender Service
      and Windows Defender Network14.
      Right click each and press
      start
    • After you have started both restart your computer
    • Run Windows Defender

    Method 2

If issue still persists, you may refer to the articles mentioned below and see if it helps you to find the answer of your query and fix the issue.

Notifications that my Defender and antispyware is off. My Webroot is running.

Windows Defender should (to prevent software conflicts and other potential issues) be disabled by the presence of Webroot on the computer.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/getstarted-protect-your-pc If
you continue to receive the notification and wish to use Webroot, suggest you uninstall/reinstall the Webroot program. You may also need to manually disable WD: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5918-windows-defender-turn-off-windows-10-a.html

If you wish to use WD on Win 8.1/10 you must uninstall any third party antimalware program (such as Webroot) that may be on the computer (or was previously on the computer before it was upgraded to Win 10), run the appropriate
software removal tool and reboot the computer. See List
    of anti-malware product removal tools

    Regards....

Does Windows Defender have Antimalware, Antispyware, Antispam and Antiphishing?

    New Defender Antimalware Client Version

0x80070643 has turned up several times on TenForums with previous Antimalware Client Version updates (as well as other Windows Update updates). Perhaps something here might help --

Windows Defender KB4052623 impossible to install, error 0x80070643

Win Defender KB4052623 (v4.18.1905.4) repeated install fail 0x80070643

Windows Defender update KB4052623 Error 0x80070643

Using a 3rd-party antivirus may also prompt the error in some cases. Here's a link from a user who came up with a solution for his issue --

KB4052623 Install Fail (Error 0x80070643): A suggested workaround.

If none of the above solves your issue, hopefully someone with more detailed knowledge will stop by. Good luck!
