Windows 10: Does Windows do CHKDSK after reinstall with fully disk clean?

My question is very precise.I am reestablishing windows. It gave me option to do it through cloud download which I did and then I also activated the full disk clean option. As far as i can know, this clean will burn 1 and 0s on my harddrive and then install windows again. This is so data tracing is harder. This process is taking forever but I understand.So my question is, is Windows also going to do CHKDSK? Because if not. I will do it after the reinstall myself.I need to know.Thanks!

Clean windows 10 Install problems with disk errors

I understand your concern, I suggest you to perform the below given methods and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps to run System maintenance troubleshooter to resolve your issue.

• 
  Type troubleshooting in search box and press enter.
  
• 
  Click view all on the top left pane.
  
• 
  Click on system maintenance and follow the on screen instructions.
  

I would also suggest you to back up all important files and data and perform Chkdsk.

• 
  Open cmd with administrative privileges and run a chkdsk scan.
  
  CHKDSK /F /R
  

Disclaimer: Data available on bad sectors might be lost when chkdsk tries to repair your hard disc.

It might be an error on the drive. We suggests that you follow the troubleshooting steps below:

• Run Disk Cleanup utility to clear your junk files.
• Open an elevated CMD type sfc /scannow and hit Enter to run the System File Checker.
  
• Once the scan is completed, restart your computer. Remember to exit ChkDsk
  during boot.
• Next, again open CMD as admin type
  Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit Enter to repair the Windows image.
• Now see if ChkDsk able to complete the scan.

Note: Before doing the steps, make sure you save a back up of your files.

Disk Read Error

/p flags good, I'm still thinking it's something in your boot sector and not hardware related.

Try this:

Insert your XP disk and boot from the disk
Select recovery console
follow the promts until you are in DOS
C:\windows
at the above prompts type FIXMBR

Why?
This will fix the Mater Boot Record for Windows it will ask you if you are sure and follow the prompts

once complete type CHKDSK /r
that is CHKDSK space /r
this will check the disk and repair any bad sectors

once complete type exit
