Windows 10: Does Windows fisical product key becomes obsolete after upgrading to a Digital License?

Hi guys, i purchased a Windows 10 Pro key from a online vendor, the problem is that the key came printed on a piece of paper witch it's weird, but after using it to activate my Windows fresh install and in fact it's a geniuine Windows 10 Pro Retail Key. i linked that license with my microsoft account so under Settings > Update & Security > Activation it's shows Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account.So the question is, can theyonline vender reuse that product key to activate other PCs or that license

As far as I can ascertain, once you upgrade from Home to Pro your product turns into a digital license that is then tied to your computers hardware. The key becomes obsolete.

If in the future you have to reinstall Windows 10 and you end up with the Home version, just go to the activation page, click change product key and use the default Windows 10 Pro product key:

VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

Since your hardware already has a digital license tied to it for pro, it will automatically activate.

That's fine, but the key I used yesterday was a retail copy, once i started using my Microsoft account on PC, it activated it with a digital license and I can no longer see original product key?

Once your key has been converted into a digital license after upgrading, your original product key becomes obsolete.

If you had a free upgrade previously from Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10, then you will have an OEM license and you cannot transfer this to a new/different computer.

If you have a retail copy of Windows 10, you are free to install it on any one computer at a time, you want.
