Windows 10: Does windows generate oem keys on motherboards sold seperately like ASUS, GIGABYTE?

Does it generate OEM Keys for different editions on different hardwares or generates OEM Keys for same edition on different hardware. Is it legal to buy a used motherboard with OEM key generated previously by other user, if its not same edition?

The 9th gen processors that are currently available is still the P0 stepping and will eventually be replaced with the new R0 stepping processors.

Motherboard Change and My OEM w10 Key

I have to change my motherboard and i've got a question,

I didn't use free w10 upgrade from any previous versions

I simply have bought a windows 10 Oem Key

and in this case what should i do, my motherboard (gigabyte) is broken and i don't want to use the same model to replace it

I might go for a MSI or Asus mb what will happen to my key do i have to buy another key for my new mb?

If you bought an OEM Windows 10 key and activated it with your Gigabyte motherboard then you will need to buy another key for a new motherboard. (doesn't matter if it is a different make/model or not)

You may have been better spending a bit more and purchased a retail key.
