Does Windows Still Consider You 'Eligible' for Windows 11 if Secure Boot is Disabled

I'm aware that features such as TPM and Secure Boot are supposedly required to install Windows 11. I am on Windows 10 22H2, caught up on updatesin Windows 10 Settings > Update and Security >Windows Update, on the right side of the screen, you can see a message saying "This PC can run Windows 11", I'm sure you're familiar with it. or, if you can't run it, it will say "This PC does not meet the requirements to run Windows 11"if someone does not have Secure Boot enabled, does this message become "This PC does not meet the requirements to run Windows 11", or are you still considered eligible

Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

    • Linux
    • Linux
    • Linux
    • Linux
    • Oh and OSX
Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

    windows security center disabled????????

i just installed windows defender on my computer (freshly formated new hard drive about 2 weeks ago) and it would not update because the security center was not running. so i went to msconfig and it was not in the services list so i went to services.msc and it was disabled. so i changed it to automatic and started it. after rebooting it was still running, so i restarted it again and it was disabled again, so i renabled it again. and when i went to the security center in control pannel it looked like this
