Windows 10: Does Windows Update check for updates once a feature update is done?

Discus and support Does Windows Update check for updates once a feature update is done? in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; When a feature update is done installing, does it automatically check for updates, or does it wait until the regular time that it checks for them?     Does Windows Update check for updates once a feature update is done?


    When a feature update is done installing, does it automatically check for updates, or does it wait until the regular time that it checks for them? Like say, I was done installing it at midnight would it check for updates then even though it already checked for them at like 3 pm?

    No, I know that. Exactly where I suggest this to be changed, please note.
    Sorry for not being clear.

    The Check for updates small window currently does not show what I ask to be added - program version. Please consider adding this. Many other programs have this, so I suggest for GPU-Z to have it too.

    Windows update cannot currently check for updates.

    So I got this laptop thats running Windows 7 and has the dreaded "Windows update cannot currently check for updates" error and I have tried pretty much everything I can find on the net but still it wont start. Im pretty sure if I change a 1 to a 0 in the registry it will get it working but I cant remember where that is exactly to do that (Did it yrs ago)

    If anyone could help or give ideas and links for me to try to get it to work that would be much appreciated.

    Windows update cannot currently check for updates.

    You verified the Windows Update Service is running in Services.msc?

    Check this out: Script Reset Windows Update Agent
