  1. Dolby Access + Displayport not working

My PC has always been connected to my TV via HDMI (Nvidia 1080 TI). It's an LG OLED55B87 and since a couple of days it's connected to my Teufel Concept E Surround System via optical since I learned that my TV can passthrough surround sound. Which is indeed working great with the Dolby Access app, even when playing games (before that I had my PC hooked up to my sound system directly, but I wanted to get away from that).

But now, for some other reason, I need to use my PCs Displayport instead of HDMI. So I bought a DP 2 HDMI adapter, plugged everything in, started my PC, but all I'm getting is crackling noise.

Dolby Home Theater is enabled in the sound settings and the system does recognize everything correctly, but it won't do as long as I'm connected via Displayport. I thought maybe it's just the adapter, so I bought a DP 2 HDMI cable, which is even supposed to handle both 4k@60hz and "error-free audio passage for uncompressed digital 7.1, 5.1 or 2 channels".

But it's still not working. I'm still getting crackling noise only.

Is it simply the case that Dolby Access or whatever can't handle Displayport? Am I forced to use HDMI instead?

    I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

Dolby Audio not working in windows 10

    Hello,

After resetting windows dolby audio not working but it's installed in there I updated all the drivers, uninstalled the audio driver and installed again but it won't working. It's in the list of installed program but when I search in the windows there is
no dolby audio in system. I even visited manufacturer website and downloaded the latest audio deriver (Realtek audio according to my laptop model) but it not working. Any suggestion other than resetting windows?
