    Domain Name not showing on Ethernet adaptor


    Hi All, Here's the topology. End user is authenticated via clearpass and routed through Checkpoint which performs L3 Routing and DHCP replay. AD is configured with DNS name "abc.com.sg" and DNS Server ip 5.5.5.5.When user gets authenticated, and connected to Lan, the ethernet adapter does not show the name as abc.com.sg.Instead it's shows up as 1 of our WLAN SSID e.g. "Free_Wifi_2". By the way, I have disabled the wifi adaptor and cleared all known profiles. End user has Trendmicro and Windows firewall turned on by GPO. I tired resetting winsock, release, flush dns, renew, unjoin and rejoin do

    Windows 'domain'?

    Hello,

    Thank you for sharing your concern in the Microsoft Community. Follow these steps to find the domain name:

    • Press the Windows key + R then choose System.
    • The name of your computer will be listed as the Full computer name.
    • The domain your computer belongs to will be listed as the Domain. If, instead of Domain, you see Workgroup, your computer
      is not a member of any domain.
