Windows 10: Domain network ethernet not working but wifi does?

Hi there, firstly I apologise if this space is not for asking questions. I've been tirelessly and frustratingly been trying to fix this problem for the past month but the problem persists unfortunately. I have a small business with 3 computers on the premises all connected to the same network through ethernet they also have a software on them which shares information between the 3 computers. Additionally I have not been able to take card payments from customers for this whole time and had to give products away for free hoping the customers would return to pay. For over 2-3 months now my ethernet would randomly drop however when I would shut everything down and return the next day it would be back up but the ethernet connection dropped sometime 3 weeks ago and hasn't returned since. I realised that there was no problem with the router as all the lights are working fine and my wifi on my phone is always working. I have tried using a new ethernet cable from my main computer to the ethernet socket in the floor this didnt help. Additionally I have searched the internet for similar forums and have tried all the remedies found online e.g. the command prompts (ipconfig /renew release, netsh winsock etc). None of this has resolved the issue. I have also tried resetting the network, uninstalling etc none of this has worked either. I contacted my network provider and they said their tests have pinged back all clear. My Ethernet remains to have "unidentified network" underneath. Domain network ethernet not working but wifi does?

Hi FreeBooter, I already came across this article and followed the steps with no results, I came across other articles that suggested the same steps but still nothing has worked? Thanks for the reply.

 

configure two network type wifi public and Ethernet private

I have two network adapters in Windows 10 one wifi for connecting to internet and one Ethernet for local network.
I need to configure wifi adapter to public network and Ethernet to private network but i can't.

Inverse it work ( wifi to private and Ethernet to public ) but I don't need that.
(only wifi adapter have option to be discoverable by others pd in Network Settings -> advanced options )


I need to share files by Ethernet AND NOT by wifi.

Any suggestion?

I don't know what I mean. YES ON WIF i can connect to the internet, but you cannot connect to anthing plugged into the same WIFI ROUTER with CAT5 Cable ethernet. My MacBook Pro has WIFI and ehternet, ethernet wont work, but wifi will. My Dell does not have wifi, and I cannot connect to the network or internet at all. As I mentioned, I changed the WIFI Router about a week ago, problem solved, for 3-4 days, now ethernet to the new router does not work again.
