Windows 10: Don't detect OCZ Revo Drive

OCZ Revo Drive X2 Windows 10 Compatiblity

My system boots from an OCZ Revo Drive X2 PCI-E board. I'd like to know if the Windows 10 upgrade will work. The OCZ site doesn't indicate Windows 10 is supported or not.

I finally had success with the update. But I'm not sure if it was just coincidence or not. I updated the Firmware of the Revodrive X2, by using the boot disc ocz offers on their website. Couldn't use the Windows Software because it won't work when the Revo
is the boot drive.

The firmware before was 1.22, the new is 1.37... and for some reason you have to do the firmware update 4 times (every RAID unit separately). Luckily the update doesn't destroy the content of the drive, although the software warns you, that it might happen.

After that I booted back to Windows and started the Win10 update using the media creation tool. I tried it with it 6 times before the firmware update without success, but this time it worked.

I just did a format of my revodrive x2 and installed the Windows 10 x64 ISO from a bootable USB stick (just like any Win7 or 8 install) and it looked about the same. Got the same spot where I needed to load the Win7 driver provided by OCZ on the support
page for the revodrive x2 and it took it and I'm now writing this from Windows 10 booting off my revo x2 running solid. Cheers!

Sad note, Windows 10 update doesn't seem to be able to work with this drive automatically so you have to do the install manually using the ISO like I did. This normally would be a non-issue except for that it invalidates me for the free upgrade and installs
in trial mode asking for a key. I'm told there's a way around this by installing win7 or 8 on a regular hdd and performing the update to win10 and then claiming the upgrade that way and somehow transferring the license to the install on the revo. But I've
not tried it yet.
