Windows 10: DoSVC optimisation thing is messing with me i'cant take it anymore

Hello,As i said in the title DoSvc is messing with me, it's the optimisation service for windows update. And it's taking all my connection, so i looked up a bunch of solution to turn it off or deactive it. And the one thing that worked was that : putting the start value of it at 4. And it was all good.BUT THEN i noticed i couldn't download anything from the xbox app. So i got it back to 3 and i could download again BUT DoSvc was back.So i said to myself no worries i'll just limit how much windows update can take from me. BUT i know again a 'but' IT ALSO PUT DOWN MY CONNECTION FOR THE XBOX AP

How to stop DoSvc service?

I'm trying to pause Windows Updates on a Windows 10 machine (because I kind of need to download something else at this particular moment). I've found a few sites recommending certain services be stopped, but when I try to stop DoSvc, it fails. It tried to stop it with both sc and net and neither work. Here's what I get:

Is it not possible to override this service anymore?

 

Can't find Dosvc in registry editer

I went in to registry editor to see that DoSvc is not there at all it is in the system32 files

 

" Defragment and Optimise Drives "

Hi,

I see there is a bit of a discussion going on here ( i'm the original poster asking the question ), I took Patricia Guenot advice and clicked on " optimise ".

As we all know, when you defrag a HDD it'll say things like Pass 1, reallocating, defragmenting, things like that, which I expect to see, when I clicked on optimise for the SSD I didn't get any of that, and it maybe took 3 seconds to complete, were a normal
" defrag " process ( depending on HDD size ) would take anywhere between 30mins to several hours, so my conclusion is that Patricia noting that she does have SSD's herself and would know, was right and it did in fact " optimise " the SSD ( as in run the TRIM
command ) and NOT defrag it.

Side note, I am not a technician of any kind so I was only going off someone else's recommendation and I originally asked whether she was certain it would not defrag and she said absolutely yes to quote her.

So, optimising and defragging are 2 completely different things when it comes to defragging a HDD and optimising an SSD, am I right or wrong ?
