Windows 10: Double Click Error

Hi, from the very beginning of this I need to state that I'm overwhelmed by this. I also have a disability that makes it difficult to process things like this or recall nouns. Please bear with me.Somehow last night, my computer has started making this black box appear around the bottom selection of whatever is open in Windows Explorer. This is the only visual change. Now, for example, when I have my desktop open and I try to select one of the shortcuts or files on the desktop, a single click does nothing. I have to click a second time in order for it to be selected. Then another click in orde

error: MSOXMLED.EXE - System Error

This error message MSOMLED.EXE -System Error (the program can't start because AppVlsvSubsystems64.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem). Occured whe I was asked by TOWER Products, in an email to click on a file
download.

The instructions were:-

How to install Tower’s Label Templates in Microsoft Word 2007/2010:

• Step 1: Download this setup file:
  CLICK HERE.
• Step 2: Double click on the file once downloaded.
• Step 3: Type in the password: Tower.
• Step 4: Double click on Tower Labels Word 2010 Updater.exe
• Step 5: Click install.

Please advise me how to resolve this issue.

 

Error: No work available to process

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.
