Windows 10: Double iTunes Icon when pinned

I know how to get around the double iTunes icon in Windows 8, unfortunately that doesn't seem to work on Windows 10, has anyone found another way?

Duplicate taskbar icons

Windows 10 Final Build 10240. ( Not Insider. )

I am having a really annoying problem with the taskbar where the iTunes shortcut tends to duplicate when i pin it to the taskbar , this never happened before, not in Windows 7 or Windows 8 , 8.1..... is there a way to stop Windows from duplicating pinned
icons, and this problem affects the iTunes icon ONLY , Latest iTunes (version 12.2.2.25.), Windows is up to date.

i tried removing the second icon (iTunes2.exe), it didnt help.

the icon stayed in the taskbar, and when i unpin the 2nd icon, it automatically unpins the 1st one, and now iTunes is unpinned from the taskbar.

now, when i repinned the icon again, it doesn't carry the 2 next to it's name, so when i pin the running instance of iTunes , another one appears next to it on the taskbar, and now there is two iTunes icons next to each other , one is running and the other
is not, and when i unpin one of them , the other one disappears , and the quick launch folder only contains one iTunes icon.............

This is really frustrating, and as i mentioned in the first post this only happens with iTunes.
