Windows 10: Double "Show Hidden Icons" Button overflow the microphone icon on Taskbar

hi everyone,Im having this issue for several months now and no update has helped so far. if I disable the microphone access setting obviously the duplicated icon with the microphone in the background disappears and everything is solved, but obviously I can't use the microphone. if then I reactivate the setting in the "privacy and security" menu and use the microphone, the issue reappears. any advice?

Taskbar icons

Hi,

To address your concern, follow the steps below on how to show hidden icons on the taskbar.

• Open Settings, and click on the Personalization
  icon.
• Click on Taskbar on the left side, and click on the
  Select which icons appear on the taskbar link under the Notification area section on the right.
• Turn on Always show all icons in the notification area at the top

As you can see here, whenever I click on the overflow arrow to show hidden icons on my taskbar, the menu thing appears behind the taskbar, hiding a few icons. I recently installed a mouse driver, which is hidden by the taskbar and can never access the software
from here, which is quite annoying, since its the fastest way to open it. I have tried closing some of these apps, but it still appears behind the taskbar, no matter how small it gets. I have also tried changing the size of the taskbar, but nothing has worked.
Does anyone have a fix?

(Not sure if this matters but I'm using a Dell Inspiron 7577 with Windows 10)

 

Taskbar hidden icon button?

That's not your whole Taskbar is it? See if you have tried to request all icons in the notification area. E.g. I suspect you will probably see in Settings
Select which icons appear on the taskbar to have: Always show all icons in the notification area ON. If so, try toggling it OFF.
