Windows 10: Double Tap on spacebar to create a period

Hey,In my phone I use a lot of times double spacebar to put a period in the end of a sentence. I saw that there is an option in windows touch screen but I haven't seen in a normal keyboard I don't a touch screen in my laptopIs there an option for that or just a 3rd party software?

I have an ASUS vivobook s15. I have windows 10, I see there's an option to add a period after I double tap the spacebar when typing. This would be helpful for me to use since I'm used to being able to do that on my iPhone. I have that feature enabled however
its not working... I don't know why? anyone have a solution to this?

I would suggest you refer to the below options and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Option 1. Sign out and Sign in the account.

1. Press CTRL + Alt + Del.

2. Click Sign out and Sign in again.

3. Check to see whether or not the problem has been resolved.

Option 2. Run DISM & SFC.

1. Press the Windows key, type in CMD right-click and click on "Run as an administrator".

2. Copy-paste: sfc /scannow

3. Press Enter. Wait until it completes.

4. Copy-paste: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

5. Press enter. Wait until it completes.

This is for touchscreen keyboards, not actual keyboards. I've googled some links where this has been said:

I couldn't find an option for a normal keyboard in Windows settings. However you could make an autohotkey script to get around this, though it would have to run in the background.
