Windows 10: Double users at login

So I'm an issue with one of the computers at work where it has the users doubled. I've tried the common fixes for this issue but they aren't working. Also the duplicate users have a different login screen compared to the originals. https://ibb.co/qm3R8WLI'm not sure why it's doing this. When I enter the password into the duplicate user it brings up the actual user account. Like if I have a word document open in the actual account it will also be open in the duplicate account.

Local user disappeared frin login options after upgrade

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix the issue. Here are my steps:

• I've uninstalled the last 3 updates (the ones from september):
  
  • however, they keep getting reinstalled:
    

• I've added two new users: one from the GUI, the other as you suggested in step 2:
  
  • They are listed under users;
    
• I've also booted in safe mode just to check.
  

I still have no way to login other than with the main account. No local users are available at login or when I go to start menu and click on my user.

User accounts not visible in Windows login screen.

I realize that you are unable to see the user accounts in the Windows login screen, let me assist you.

This issue might happen if the user account is disabled, I suggest you to follow the below steps to check if the user accounts are disabled and try enabling them.

• 
  Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Computer Management.
  
• 
  Click on Local Users and Groups in the left pane.
  
• 
  Double click on Users option and check if the accounts are visible.
  
  (The user accounts with a downward arrow symbol on it are disabled accounts.)
  
• 
  Double click on the account that you want to enable.
  
• 
  In the General tab, uncheck the option
  Account is disabled.
  
• 
  Click on Apply and then Ok.
  
• 
  Restart the system and check if the issue is resolved.

Windows users at login

I cannot see all of my user accounts on the login screen on a new Windows 10 laptop. I have an account for my son and it does not appear as a user on the login screen. It is listed if I display the users with the CMD prompt. The only account I see is my
account which is an admin. His account is a user. All the suggestions I've seen are not available on home edition.
