Windows 10: down grade from win 10 with Cortana to windows xp pro

I am totally feed up with windows 10 so I have ordered a Windows XP pro disc. to get rid of the hack Cortana it's a pain in the butt. if I needed her help which I don't. an all I ever asked for from Microsoft was help d no help at all to fix the issues that come loaded with Windows 10. 10 is by far the worst program ever by Microsoft and they will not offer any type solution except adjust this or adjust that with no help. so folks if down grading don't correct this Lenovo laptop it's sold and a news Toshiba will be purchased. all I ever asked support for was to make windows 10 friendly and easier to use and the offered no help to down load or SELL me a down grade.

Ud-grade from Wind 8.1 Pro to "only" Win 10 Home

I am not sure, but I think I up-graded from Win 8.1 Pro version and the up-grade is Win 10 Home. Please can I find somewhere what was my old version? or is there any other step to get Win 10 Pro from Home version? Thanks for help.

 

XP emulator on Win 10 pro

1. yes.

2. The XP emulator was running under Win 7 pro, but it was not included on Win 10 pro.

3. The short cut for the virtual machine on win 7 pro was carried over to Win 10 pro, but when clicked on I get:

"There was a problem starting C:\WINDOWS\system32\VMCPropertyHandler.dll; The specified module could not be found."

The properties of the short cut provides this location:

"%SystemRoot%\system32\rundll32.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\VMCPropertyHandler.dll,LaunchDefaultVM"

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
